La Teoría de Godot

“La Teoría de Godot”, inspired by the absurdist world of Waiting for Godot, explores waiting as a state of being and the impossibility of reaching an ending. Three performers persistently rehearse a work that seems to be approaching its conclusion, repeating movement sequences and different forms in a constant attempt to “do it better”. Trapped in an endless rehearsal, their bodies oscillate between remembering and forgetting, control and losing themselves, precision and deviation, in a practice that never fully settles. The work opens a suspended time and space where repetition offers no certainty and the ending remains, perhaps, always a little further ahead.
