About the work
The work explores the grotesque act of abduction described in the lyrics of Falco’s song “Jeanny”. Dental floss serves as its central metaphor for “cleaning” or “preparation” before a cannibalistic or violent act.
The choreography contrasts “clinical” preparation with intense predator-and-prey dynamics. Movement is explosive and incisive, except for a slower moment when the performers let themselves fall, suggesting exhaustion or injury. The work ends with a violent gesture of enveloping the “victim”.
