From Her, From Her

“From Her, From Her” explores the transmission of gestures, postures and emotional patterns across three generations of women. Through physical distance, repetition and distortion of movement, and constantly shifting spatial relationships, the performers embody a shared lineage. Conflicts, separations and attempts at reconnection emerge as the body reveals what is inherited without being taught. An ancestral lullaby opens a space where memory becomes physical, revealing care, resistance and tension. The work asks: can what we inherit be transformed, or only recognised as it passes through us?
