Femmes

Femmes is a dance-theatre performance about the realities of women’s lives. Through a contemporary aesthetic and a fresh, accessible vocabulary, it explores different emotional states, contradictions and social roles assigned to women.

Through dance, music and words, “Femmes” plays with symbols and preconceptions associated with women — high heels, appearance, purity, motherhood and more — as social realities imposed on the collective subconscious, inviting audiences to question their authenticity.
