About the work
“Eu Vou-te Dizer Sem Palavras Debaixo Da Água” is a joint improvisation between a dancer and a musician, taking as its starting point a poem about the sea by Cuban poet Dulce Maria Loynaz.
It is a dialogue between the sound of guitar strings and the female body. Through movement, it explores how the density of water affects the body’s qualities, and how the dancing body and water create their own language: without words, yet with a voice.
